About Doctor

Dr. Iylen Benedict (known fondly as Dr Lynn) is a qualified medical doctor with post graduate specialization in Occupational, Safety and Environmental Health (OSH), a PMSB-HRDF certified trainer with TTT exemption (Occupational Health), DOSH-LATiH registered, a part-time lecturer, trainer and physician in OSH for more than 18 years, has conducted numerous OSH walk-through surveys for corporate clients, conducted training, lectures and consultancy in the areas of ergonomics, healthy workplace concepts, CHRA and OSH (Medical) Law. Dr Benedict is a government scholar all through her education

Dr Iylen holds memberships to numerous professional bodies and associations, presented more than 180 conferences and meetings, both local and internationally, was actively involved in the adviser to medical students (both local and international students including King’s College UK), has a good number of publications to her name, received a number of awards and recommendations internationally and is an author to a number of medical books (local and international). Under the Malaysian Government Transformation Program, Dr. Benedict was in the ‘On-Board Training of Women Directors in Malaysia’.

Have served in corporate companies both locally, regionally and globally, in the capacity of Regional Medical Director covering Global and Asia Pacific regions with countries (anywhere from 22 to 46 depending on projects).

Dr. Benedict comes with excellent interpersonal skills, possess excellent people management, communication skills and linguistically talented, being able to converse in more than 5 languages.

Beyond her professional duties, Dr. Iylen has demonstrated a profound commitment to humanitarian efforts, both locally and internationally, in collaboration with various organizations. Notably, she volunteered for four weeks in the aftermath of the Tsunami disaster, providing essential medical care at a post-disaster medical camp in Aceh, Indonesia, in 2006. Today, Dr. Benedict continues to volunteer consistently for the less fortunate through the conduct of outreach medical clinics and medical camps for migrants and Orang Asli in Malaysia
