Dr. Intan brings an impressive wealth of knowledge and experience to our team, with over 24 years of expertise in rehabilitation medicine. She is currently affiliated with the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Hospital Sultan Idris Shah having previously worked as Visting Rehabilitation Consultant at ReGen Rehab Hospital, and Tung Shin Hospital.

Dr. Intan earned her MBBS and Master of Rehabilitation Medicine from Universiti Malaya. Her distinguished career has seen her serve in renowned medical institutions across Malaysia and Australia, including stints at several Klinik Kesihatan across Klang Valley, Royal Children’s Hospital (Australia), Alexandra Hospital (Australia), Universiti Malaya Hospital, and Gold Coast Hospital (Australia).

Her dedication extends beyond clinical practice; Dr. Intan has contributed significantly to the academic world as a guest lecturer at prestigious universities such as Padjadjaran University (Indonesia), Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. She has also published numerous research papers in rehabilitation medicine.

A strong advocate for community healthcare, Dr. Intan established a pioneering Community-Based Rehabilitation Centre in Batu Kikir, Negeri Sembilan, during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing vital services to the elderly and indigenous populations.

Fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin, French, and Arabic, Dr. Intan specializes in geriatric rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, telerehabilitation, and amputee rehabilitation. Her commitment to delivering holistic patient care aligns perfectly with CybermedicDr’s mission of bringing expert healthcare services to patients’ doorsteps
